On the 13th, the city of Daejeon held a meeting to share the achievements and success stories of participating companies from the CES 2025 Daejeon Pavilion (hereinafter referred to as the 'Daejeon Pavilion') at the Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation.
The Daejeon Pavilion was operated from January 7th to 10th in Las Vegas, USA, to elevate the brand value of Daejeon as a science city and support startups and growing companies in entering overseas markets. A total of 33 companies participated, including 23 startups and 10 growing companies.
This performance sharing meeting was attended by 60 people, including Mayor Lee Jang-woo(이장우) of Daejeon, Park Dae-hee, Head of the Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, Shin Jeong-hyeok, Head of the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, as well as representatives from the 33 participating companies and investment firms.
The event proceeded with the sharing of the Daejeon Pavilion's achievements and success stories of the participating companies, followed by a conversation with entrepreneurs to encourage the participants.

Notably, 5 companies participating in the Daejeon Pavilion received innovation awards, and the exhibition attracted around 5,000 visitors. Additionally, 1,940 investment consultations (worth 88 billion KRW) were conducted, and two companies secured investment contracts worth a total of 2.6 billion KRW.
Mayor Lee Jang-woo of Daejeon said, "CES is the world's largest technology exhibition, where Daejeon's companies showcased their innovative technologies on a global stage and proved their potential. Based on this achievement, we will actively support local companies to successfully enter overseas markets and acquire global competitiveness."
