This program allows participants to enjoy the rich cultural heritage of Songpa, the ancient capital of Baekje, with vivid explanations from a guide. The district, which has been running a daytime program year-round since 2016, expanded it to nighttime last year.

The program will take place on three routes of the ‘Hanseong Baekje Royal Capital Road’: Pungnap-dong Earthen Fortification Road, Mongchon Earthen Fortification Road, and Seokchon-dong Tomb Road. Participants will gather at designated spots on each route every Friday and Saturday at 6 PM (5 PM in March and October) and enjoy a two-hour historical exploration with a guide.
To participate, you can apply on the 'Seoul City Public Service Reservation System' website. There is no participation fee.
Last year, a total of 461 people participated over four months from July. The unique night tour experience, with its different charm from daytime tours, became very popular through word of mouth. Over 90% of actual participants expressed satisfaction with the beautiful night views illuminated by landscape lighting and the informative content of the guide’s explanations. They left comments such as "I became interested in local culture" and "I want to participate in other courses." The district explained that more than half of the participants joined for educational purposes.

District Chief Seo Gang-seok said, "Songpa District is a representative tourist city in Seoul, combining the long history of Hanseong Baekje and abundant tourism resources. Through the night guided tour, we hope to showcase the diverse charms of the district and provide unforgettable memories."
