Byung-Hun Min's solo exhibition, Southern Excursion

From April 5th, 2023, Gallery Planet will hold Min Byeong-hun's solo exhibition, Southern Excursion. For four decades, Min Byung-hun has devoted himself to producing gelatin silver prints, deftly capturing often overlooked objects in a spectrum of grays rather than simple black and white photos. It embodies the charm of authentic photography in a lyrical and emotional atmosphere, leaving behind the flamboyant sense of color and digitalization of contemporary photography. About 20 pieces of the Southern Excursion series, which he has been working on since relocating to the Gunsan studio eight years ago, are introduced in this exhibition.
