‘First Half Hanmaeum Plus+’ is a place where Incheon tourism companies and related organizations gather in one place and exchange each other with the participation of tourism companies from Daejeon and Sejong.
The implementation started with a speech of the Incheon Tourism Business Support Center's project to support the discovery and development of Incheon tourism companies and the Incheon Tourism Organization's major corporate support projects, followed by introduction of participating companies, special lectures, expert consulting, and B2B consultation.
Kim Jong-seok, CEO of Monolith, which is building the second ‘9.81 Park’ in Yeongjong Island following Jeju, was invited to a special lecture meeting the CEO of a leading company in the tourism industry and introduced a successful case of incorporating IT into a theme park.
Daejeon Tourism Organization Manager Kim Dae-sik stated, “We will create business opportunities through exchanges between tourism companies in Incheon and Daejeon and foster the tourism ecosystem of both regions.”
In particular, 20 people from companies in the Daejeon and Sejong regions attended the Hanmaeum Plus event in the first half of this year and had the opportunity to exchange information and interact through B2B consultation with companies in Incheon.
After the event, Daejeon and Sejong tourism companies had the opportunity to study Incheon's tourism strategy while making a pilgrimage to various tourist spots in Incheon for two days and one night.
