Chairman Seong Nak-won of the Daejeon Association of Arts and Culture (Daejeon Yechong), a Daejeon branch of the Federation of Artistic & Cultural Organization of Korea (FACO), visited Walkinto Korea located in Daehung-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, to request their support in promoting the development of arts and culture in Daejeon. During the visit, Chairman Seong Nak-won expressed his earnest desire for the association and Daejeon City to collaborate in their efforts and encouraged the staff members.
Daejeon Yechong represents a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including architecture, traditional music, dance, literature, visual arts, photography, theater, entertainment, and film. It serves as a prominent local organization for arts and culture, with approximately 5,000 members actively participating. Under the leadership of Chairman Seong Nak-won, the 12th chairman, a key policy objective is to support these organizations and facilitate the global expansion of emerging cultural and artistic talents. As part of this initiative, plans are underway to elevate the "Daejeon Arts Festival" to an international event known as the "Daejeon International Arts Festival". Chairman Seong Nak-won stated, "We are fortunate to have Walkinto Korea, a global PR company, in Daejeon. I urge them to make efforts to help Daejeon become a first-class city of art and culture".
