The Korea tourism industry has got bigger and bigger, with 15 million foreign visitors and 16 million Korean outbound tourists. Still, unfortunately, there is a deficit of 5.6 trillion won annually in domestic tourism account. In contrast, many global tourists are gladly visiting even tiny towns in Europe or Japan to find their specialties such as cheese, ramen, wine, and small local festivals.
