BTS and British rock band Coldplay on Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. Korean Standard Time (KST) dropped their new collaborative song "My Universe."
The song's lyric video was released on Coldplay's official YouTube channel. The release date of the official music video is to be announced later.
According to Coldplay's official website, the track is sung in both English and Korean and was written by both groups. Swedish super hitmaker Max Martin produced the song.
The song will be on Coldplay's ninth studio album "Music of the Spheres" slated to come out on Oct. 15.
The British band's label Parlophone Records on Sept. 22 announced on its official social media platforms that a documentary featuring both groups titled "Inside My Universe" will be released on Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. KST.
BTS recently saw Coldplay in person while in New York to attend the 76th United Nations General Assembly. Both sides on Sept. 23 uploaded a group photo on their official Twitter accounts showing Coldplay members wearing Hanbok outfits for daily wear.
Coldplay is a four-member band formed in 1988 in London. The group has received over 200 nominations for major music awards including the Grammys, winning around 60.
